Trinity of compassion: Buddha | Tara | Avalokiteshvara
August 2, 2025
Bodhisattva Gallery, Kupondole , Lalitpur , Nepal
Trinity of Compassion is a profound artistic and spiritual journey that brings together the sacred embodiments of Buddha, Tara, and Avalokiteshvara—timeless icons of enlightenment, compassion, and healing. The exhibition features an exceptional collection of paubhas (traditional Newar paintings) and sculptures created by renowned contemporary and traditional artists. Each piece is a result of meticulous craftsmanship, deep devotion, and generations of inherited knowledge, offering a rare glimpse into the sacred visual language of Himalayan art.
Curated with the intention of bridging the ancient and the present, Trinity of Compassion invites viewers to engage not only with the beauty of form, but with the deeper narratives of spiritual resilience and compassion these deities represent. The exhibition encourages introspection, reverence, and a renewed understanding of how sacred art can continue to inspire personal and collective transformation in today’s world.
